What is the Lord of the Year?
It is the ruler of the querent's current year, calculated via Annual Profection: each year the 1st house advances by one sign in the zodiac. The ruler of the profected sign is the Lord of the Year. If you are 35, your profected house is the 12th. It defines which planet governs that specific year of your life.
What is Almuten Figuris?
It is the strongest personal ruler of your natal chart, calculated by summing dignities at the 5 sensitive points (Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Midheaven and prenatal Syzygy). Each planet earns points by domicile, exaltation, triplicity and minor dignities. The highest scorer is your Almuten. Bonatti considers it decisive for serious elections.
How is this different from other online tools?
