What is astrocartography?

Astrocartography — also called locational astrology or ACG — projects your natal chart onto a world map. At the moment of your birth, every planet was rising, setting, culminating or anti-culminating somewhere on Earth. These four angular positions create lines that stretch across the globe. Where you live relative to these lines dramatically shapes how that planet expresses in your life.

Frequently asked questions

How close do I need to be to a planetary line?
The orb is generally considered 300-400 miles (500-650 km) either side of the line for angular influence, gradually diminishing with distance. However, paran crossings (where two planetary lines intersect at a latitude) can be felt regardless of longitude distance from the original lines.
Should I move near my Jupiter line?
Jupiter lines bring optimism, expansion and opportunity, but they can also bring excess, overconfidence and weight gain. The specific house and aspect context matters. It is not automatic that Jupiter = good; a poorly aspected Jupiter may bring recklessness. Always read the whole chart in context.
