Was misst die Synastrie?

Synastry superimposes the natal charts of two people and studies the aspects between their planets. It is not a compatibility score — it is a map of the actual dynamic between two individuals: their points of connection, their zones of tension, and their opportunities for joint growth.

The 6 key axes of the classical tradition

AxisWhat it reveals
☉ ↔ ☽ (Sun–Moon)Intimacy, mutual respect, fundamental complementarity
♀ ↔ ♂ (Venus–Mars)Physical attraction and erotic chemistry
☿ ↔ ☿ (Mercury–Mercury)Communication, intellectual understanding
♃ ↔ ♄ (Jupiter–Saturn)Long-term structure and expansion
♂ ↔ ♄ (Mars–Saturn)Chronic frustration if afflicted
☽ ↔ ♄ (Moon–Saturn)Emotional coldness or deep stability

Beyond the basic aspects

TheAstroKind also calculates mutual reception between the planets of both charts — when one person's planet is in the sign ruled by the other's planet. The Arab and medieval tradition considers mutual receptions the strongest and most durable bonds.

Häufige Fragen

Do I need the other person's exact birth data?
For maximum precision yes, especially the birth time. Without an exact time, the Ascendant and houses cannot be calculated, but the aspects between planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) remain valid and are the most important for classical synastry.
Does a difficult synastry mean the relationship won't work?
No. Synastry shows the dynamic, not the destiny. Tense aspects (square, opposition) can create friction but also intense passion and mutual growth. The great masters like Lilly or Bonatti evaluated the whole, not isolated aspects. TheAstroKind delivers an integrated verdict, not a point score.
